Do I need a Spanish license to get car insurance?
No, European and some others are accepted, but please take a look at our page, ‘expat news’ on the site for more information about keeping a UK licence in Spain.
What pre-existing medical conditions are or are not covered?
If you have certain major pre-existing conditions like Diabetes 1, or have had a stroke, heart attack, cancer, etc it will not be possible to obtain insurance cover.
Am I too old to get life insurance?
As long as you are under 75 years of age, we can provide you with health care cover but for health insurance you must be 69 or under.
My boat is not registered in Spain but can I still get insurance?
The simple answer is, yes!
Do you cover UK plated vehicles?
Yes we do!
Am I covered in Europe for health insurance?
Yes you are!
Am I covered for car insurance in Europe?
Yes you are!
Is breakdown cover included?
Yes breakdown cover is included, together with windscreen cover!
Can I have a low or a high excess with full comprehensive car insurance
Yes you can choose the excess. The higher the excess the cheaper the premium.
I am currently with another company for my health insurance but would like to change my agency to you, is this possible?
It may be possible depending on who you are currently with but bearin mind if you have existing conditions like heart issues, stroke, diabetes, stents etc it may not be possible.
I am currently with another insurance company but am not happy with the agent or broker can I change agency to you?
Yes, with a letter we would provide you with, which you sign and return to us, with a copy of your NIE.
What insurances do you offer?
Everything so health, life, car, home, pet, travel, funeral, business, communities etc.
Do you speak English?
Yes and the documents are in English too!
If I have valuables, like a Rolex watch, are they insured under my home contents insurance?
With valuables over 2,000€ we must have an accurate written valuation/bill of purchase and a photo.
Do you insure animals other than dogs and cats?
Just dogs and cats, no other animals.
What minimum and maximum age can my dog be to get insurance?
Minimum 3 months, 6 years maximum. But if you have insurance with us before the age of 6 it can continue until the age of 9.
Do you cover rural properties?
Yes we do!
Do you cover new drivers who have just passed their test?
No, you need two years of experience or go onto someone else’s insurance, but the premium will be a bit higher. Anyone over 25 years of age can drive your car.
Anyone younger we cannot insure, sorry.
